Finance Director
Description My client is hiring a Finance Director for their U.S. entity. My client is a global leader in cloud-hosting solutions, delivering a range of services like private cloud, dedicated servers, and cybersecurity. As Finance Director, you’ll oversee and drive financial operations, reporting, strategic planning, taxation, and decision-making. Collaborating closely with the CEO and global headquarters, you will lead a talented finance and compliance team while ensuring seamless alignment with organizational objectives. This pivotal role involves profitability analysis, strategic advisement on deal opportunities, and working alongside the Sales Team to align financial priorities. Taxation—specifically property taxes and income taxes—will also form a significant portion of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: + Provide leadership and oversight to the Finance Team (3 members) and the Compliance Team (2 members). + Oversee monthly and annual financial close efforts and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. + Deliver meaningful profit analyses to guide strategic decision-making regarding deal approvals. + Own tax responsibilities, including property tax and income tax processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of filings. + Supervise accounts receivable (AR) management, maintaining the organization’s optimized AR timeline. + Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to integrate finance-focused strategies into business development efforts. + Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with local, national, and international regulations. + Present financial updates and insights to the CEO and senior leadership teams. + Partner with global headquarters to ensure alignment on policy implementation, reporting, and strategic initiatives. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. + 7–10+ years in finance leadership roles, with prior experience in international organizations preferred. + Expertise in AR management, taxation, profit analysis, and financial reporting. + Exposure to ERP systems; experience leading ERP system implementations is a plus. + CPA certification highly preferred. + Proficiency in advanced Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and clear fluency in financial tools and platforms. + Proven success working with cross-functional teams, including Sales. + Ability to travel to the Global HQ within 30 days of starting and annually thereafter.
