We are seeking a results-driven Finance Director of Global Operations to lead and optimize financial performance within our global manufacturing and operations functions. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, complex environment. The Finance Director will bridge the strategic vision of manufacturing and operations with tactical execution, ensuring alignment of cost and sales objectives to drive organizational success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:Foster a culture that emphasizes team success and the professional growth of each member. As part of the finance leadership team, champion a culture of integrity, accountability, and passion for achieving business goals.Strategic Partnering:
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Global Operations, to develop and execute key strategic initiatives. Align finance and operations strategies to support long-term growth and efficiency.Manufacturing Cost Management:
Lead product and operational cost analysis, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and timely adjustments. Provide strategic insights into standard and overhead cost drivers while relentlessly pursuing cost reduction opportunities across the organization.Cost Accounting & Financial Integrity:
Oversee cost accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in monthly financial close processes. Ensure that financial data integrity is prioritized across all finance activities, driving the highest level of accuracy and trust in reporting.Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the forecasting and annual business planning processes, including analysis of financial performance. Identify key variances, trends, and drivers to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions.Compliance & Internal Controls:
Implement and enforce robust financial controls and processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuously improve internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.Business Case Development & Ad Hoc Analysis:
Conduct business case evaluations and support ad hoc requests, providing detailed analysis and recommendations. Comfortably navigate ambiguous situations and deliver meaningful, value-added insights for leadership.Effective Communication:
Convey complex financial and operational information in a clear and actionable manner across all levels of the organization. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure understanding and alignment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.12+ years of relevant finance experience in cost accounting or operations finance, with 3+ years in management.Experience in a global manufacturing environment, supporting operational decision-making and cost reduction initiatives.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% (including visits to facilities in León, Europe, and China).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across various levels and functions in a multinational organization.Strong knowledge of the financial impact of policies and processes on manufacturing operations.Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands:Frequent hearing, talking, visual tasks, sitting, and typing. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and manual dexterity. Seldom driving, bending, lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.
Pay Range:
$132,500.00 - $233,100.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
