As the UK Finance Director, you’ll have a chance to make your mark in a culture based on motivation, inspiration and a drive to make a difference. Reporting to the EMEA Regional Finance Director and leading a team of 5 including Business Controller and Finance Manager you will partner with the Business Unit Directors to provide financial direction and guidance which will form the local organisations short terms and long term strategic planning. Your responsibilities: + Provide strategic recommendations based on financial intelligence drawn from variance reports, broader trends and common issues + Develop financial performance reporting that supports the provision of clear, concise, transparent explanations of financial performance + Improve organisational performance by ensuring that management has access to financial management advice and solutions + Project the impact of strategic and operational decisions on the organisation’s financial results + Drive professional networking strategies to enable best practices in financial management governance and leveraging of new approaches and solutions + Maintain financial and business control in order to ensure compliance with business requirements and local needs, rules and legislation. + Analyze and act on financial information so that corrective action is taken in order to meet financial objectives + Assess and evaluate sales force & marketing investments to secure business cases and implementation according to plan. What you’ll get + Salary circa £85,000 dependant on experience + 30% to 50% annual bonus + Monthly car allowance £715 + BUPA healthcare + Private pension up to 10% company contribution + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + Life assurance and Income protection + Employee Assistance Programme + Wellbeing resource hub What you’ll need + University degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar field + Previous business finance experience gained in Healthcare, Med Device or FMCG + Demonstrable people management and leadership skills + Experience of working in a similar sized international environment + Proven ability to manage ambiguity and empower businesses through financial data + Understand the nuances of a matrix organisation and non-typical finance structures + High level of IT literacy including excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Your work-life balance + Flexible hybrid working with a need to visit both our Milton Keynes and Oldham sites Our approach to diversity and inclusion At Mölnlycke diversity is not just a vision, but our strength.
