Finance Director / Volvo Financial Services Mexico
Mission:
The Finance Director is the primarily responsible for managing the market´s results together with the Managing
Taking into account into account the economic cycle of the local market. The main roles include the accurate and
timely preparation of all financial statements, reporting forecasts, tax requirements, planning and performance tracking.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1.Responsible for the financial management of VFS Mexico to ensure the company meets profitability and ROE requirements
2. Responsible for all management reporting measuring the performance of the business including profitability, risk
management, pricing, volume, treasury and funding, expense control and reserve analysis
3. Responsible for the production of strategic plans, including, annual and rolling forecasts, expenses, volume forecasts,and funding plans
4. Evaluate and recommend business strategies for consideration by the Managing Director and VFS Regional management, as needed.
5. Identify opportunities and implement recommendations for improving financial.
6. Participate in managing the relationship with tax authorities and development of effective and optimized tax strategies
7. Assist in negotiating and structuring large and/or complex finance transactions for customers and participate in the development of product pricing and services
8. Responsible for all funding related activities together with VFS management, Capital Markets and Volvo Treasury,
9. Total supervision of the local Treasury area
10. Local support in the management of the Wholesale portfolio, guaranteeing its commercial relevance and good performance
Schooling: Bachelor of Management, Accounting or Economics with MBA in Accounting and Finance and CPA certified.
Experience: 5 to 10 years progressive financial management experience
