As a Finance Expert within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

Position Overview:

The position will support PNCI Finance team which is involved in many financial aspects of supporting PNC Investments and our mass affluent customer base within the Retail bank.

This role’s primary responsibility is to support the growing efforts surrounding PNC’s ability to serve our mass affluent customers as PNC focuses on providing banking and investing wholistically to this growing customer segment. The candidate will provide financial analysis and business case development for this growing segment that will include deposit, lending, and investment products.

This role will also be tasked with developing a new financial hierarchy, as well as budgeting and forecasting for this new segment. Additional support for the legacy PNCI business could also be required. The ability to think independently, lead processes, and to build relationships across the Retail Finance team as well as with LOB partners will be key to this person’s success as the candidate will be tasked with engaging with executive leadership to support and advance the decision-making process for this segment.

Job DescriptionResponsible for and leads a variety of financial management and accounting services. Serves as a senior expert for the team.Prepares information to support quarterly, external, internal financial, and business metric reports. Reviews and interprets financial reports to inform business decisions.Leads annual budget process and monthly forecast updates and leads or contributes to strategic plan. Identifies ways to outperform.Leads/delivers performance monitoring and communications and ad hoc finance and accounting analysis, and may include including management accounting analysis. Works closely with Accounting Policy on new accounting standard adoptions affecting their business. Prepares/reviews data and associated documentation workpapers supporting external disclosures.Structures preparation of reports and analysis in response to requests and requirements of auditors, regulators, and investors. May communicate directly with external constituents. May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. Prepares Stress Testing projections and associated documentation for their business.
