We view diversity as one of the key enablers that helps our business to grow and our values, purpose and standards set the conditions for us to respect the unique contribution each person brings.

Join our Graduate programme and support us in delivering our 'Society 2030: Spirit of Progress' agenda—a 10-year action plan to help create a more inclusive and sustainable world!

How does the programme work?

Our aim is to help build the strongest finance talent possible, where our graduates and future leaders of the finance organization, it is important to have exposure to a broad range of finance disciplines.  We believe that building capability in both corporate and commercial finance capabilities will set a solid base from which a great career can be built upon. You could find yourself in rotations where your involved in preparing and maintaining accounts; statutory and regulatory reporting; tax strategy and compliance; planning, budgeting, and forecasting; risk management and business assurance; project and activity appraisal or working capital and project management.

Finance depends on quality information. Having it at the right time, using it in the right way, and harnessing it to help our business to grow and evolve. You’ll learn how to see the story behind the figures. What they say about our current performance and what might be over the horizon. Your astute analysis and appreciation for risk verses rewards will guide others’ thinking and drive our strategies.

Over the course of the three-year programme you’ll be supported to become qualified through CIMA – a professional Finance Qualification which is globally recognised and funded by Diageo through a flexible learning curriculum. You will have the opportunity to experience up to three different rotations within Finance, with the rotations being in exciting locations across Europe.

At Diageo, we believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning where every day presents an opportunity for growth, development. Across your graduate programme, you will have a combination of formal training, mentoring and hands on learning with the wider European Cohort. This will help you gain a strong foundation of leadership skills, a deep understanding of Diageo's operations and feel empowered by the end of your programme to follow various career paths within our organisation.

Who are we looking for?

On the qualification side, you’ll need to have acquired or be expecting to obtain an academic degree in an Accountancy/Finance/Maths related field, graduating in 2025 or within the last 5 years. You must be proficient in English and a second European language would be helpful. With opportunities across Europe, you must be mobile and prepared to relocate geographically during the programme.

You’ll need to be a curious, flexible, self-motivated team-player who loves to turn ideas into action and someone who shows integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day.

Most importantly, we ask you to be you. Come as you are, with your own ideas and ambitions, and let's celebrate your talent and empower you to reach your fullest potential.

What are the rewards?

With everything you can learn here, and the long-term opportunities we have to offer, the Finance Graduate Programme could just be the best decision you’ve ever made.

Join us and you can also expect to receive a highly competitive salary (salary is dependent on the location of your rotations, as an example your year one salary based within the UK will be in the region of £37,000), along with an annual bonus opportunity and industry leading benefits package.
