**Position Type:** Full-Time
**Starting Wage:** $30.75 per hour
**Wage Increases:** Year 2 - $31.75 | Year 3 - $33.25
**Work Location:** Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Informs leader of status and results of assigned tasks and proactively identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Informs management when issues reoccur, or group training is required for employees.
• Manages controllable expenses by monitoring team and relative expenses.
• Provides subject matter expertise to ALDI Administrative Team.
• Anticipates the needs and uses discretion when setting priorities to keep the Group Director and appropriate leaders updated and aware of meetings, agendas, and upcoming events.
• Maintains Group Director’s schedule by planning and scheduling meetings both in-person and remote.
• Ensures projects remain on track and tasks are completed by following up with key stakeholders and within department as necessary.
• Discusses current and future initiatives with team to develop and execute appropriate strategies.
• Resolves escalated issues and/or escalates issues to appropriate personnel and/or management when necessary.
• Completes as needed projects with a high level of professionalism, thoroughness, and precision.
• Coordinates the involvement of multiple business stakeholders.
• Responds appropriately to issues that require training by conducting training and cross training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.
• Provides support to the department and contacts appropriate internal personnel or external vendors when further expertise is required.
• Assures employees complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of service for the business.
• Develops and executes plans for smaller scale projects.
• Performs research-based projects and small to medium-scale feasibility studies.
• Assists their direct leader in implementation and rollouts of large-scale projects.
• Analyzes working procedures with the objective to identify best practices and improve efficiencies.
• Creates PowerPoint presentations for executives, ensuring they are visually appealing, free of errors, and effectively communicate key information.
• Collects action items and takes meeting minutes.
• Acts as the point of contact between executives and internal/external personnel, which includes screening incoming calls and correspondence and responds or routes as appropriate.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience:**
• Associate's Degree in Business or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Relevant ALDI business experience with an exceptional level of demonstrated success preferred.
**Physical Requirements:**
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
**Travel:**
• Local travel required.
• Up to 10%.
