Butler Machinery is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Finance team. This internship is a great opportunity to apply your academic knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional relationships. Responsibilities:

Supports multiple departments with various projects.Assists with finance submittals, credit approvals, and Finance doc signing.Performs UCC lien searches and contacts banks and finance institutions to acquire blanket releases. Also files UCC’s and terminates UCC’s when needed.Maintains a spreadsheet of current contracts and leases to assure all UCC filings are up to date.Supports the sales team with relationship development with the customer and Finance department.Supports other key projects within the Finance departmentWorks within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMCPerforms other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

Candidates who are working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Business or other related major in college preferred. Attention to detail and a high level of organization.Computer skills essential with experience in Power-Point and Excel required. Position would require a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year, potentially 30 to 40 hours outside of the school year.
