Job Description

The Finance Lead, Consolidation System Administration is responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Consolidation Systems in planning, coordination and operational activities for the existing Hyperion Financial Management application and platform to support the AbbVie consolidation. Ensure data sourcing, calculations, journal entries and reporting meets the needs of end users including Accounting COE, External Reporting, and Management Reporting. Ensure all HFM processes support the successful consolidation of AbbVie financial results and assist with development and implementation of new systems as they are selected.

Responsibilities

Responsible for updating and scheduling of data feeds and Consolidation tasks to ensure that monthly close calendar benchmarks are met.Responsible for ensuring trial balance feeds into HFM system are received and processed on a timely basis. Support the Financial close, ensuring that all approved entries are posted in time to be included in scheduled consolidations.Support Quarterly Earnings Process by enabling HFM to support Cash Flow and Earnings per share calculation and reporting. Assist in adapting HFM system to accommodate changing requirements due to an evolving set of business requirements to produce timely and accurate financial disclosuresProvide direction and insights to key internal partners in cross-functional projects needing input from the HFM system and/or teamManage HFM metadata to ensure full compatibility with upstream and downstream Accounting Systems (SAP and BIP)Support external reporting, internal management reporting, tax, and FP&A Stakeholders, as well as serving as point of contact with internal audit, external auditors, and SOX auditorsManage User access to HFM system by coordinating User training and maintaining security profiles.
Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.Minimum 6+ years of experience in accounting close and consolidations. CPA or CMA preferred.6+ years of experience with SAP Group Reporting or Hyperion Financial management [HFM].
