Job Description
The Finance Lead manages a wide variety of tasks that support Medicaid financial reporting and planning. Key responsibilities will include financial modeling for key products, providing Medicaid impact for changes in Best Price (BP), and modifying financial modeling when necessary. Incumbent will support financial initiatives through analysis for key products. Additionally, Incumbent will provide routine and ad hoc financial analysis. Must analyze and respond to legislative activities (i.e. Health Care Reform) as required. The incumbent will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to foster and develop solid internal and external cross-functional relationships (i.e. legal, GTN, Pricing personnel, etc.). Adherence to OEC policies and procedures, including periodic training modules and certifications will be required.
Responsibilities
+ Updates and analyzes Medicaid financial models for Plan/LRP cycles for company Key Products.
+ Presents and explains variances to management, and submits final Medicaid rates to GTN Team.
+ Updates and analyzes Plan/LRP cycle requests based upon assumption changes provided by Finance Team, and addresses any questions as it relates to the request.
+ Explains Government Pricing methodology and logic from a business perspective and engage in key discussions on how it impacts the business.
+ Provides monthly and quarterly LBE (actual vs forecast) LBE for Medicaid Rates.
+ Presents and explains trending topics and business insights to management and key stakeholders.
+ Maintains Financial models and reports, and/or enhancements impacting the area.
+ Runs BP impact analysis versus Plan/LRP. Collaborate with key stakeholders and provide dollarized impacts in addition to the new Medicaid rates.
+ Develops knowledge of Government Pricing system to ensure accurate data are pulled into financial models, modify data pull, cross-reference multiple data sources, and validate query executions as necessary.
+ Performs ad hoc analysis with ability to create models to address regulatory changes outlining Medicaid impact vs Plan/LRP.
+ Manages all Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) related to specific areas of responsibility.
+ Develops and fosters solid internal and external relationships that facilitate job activities.
+ Assists and acts as liaison for various groups in relation to the Medicaid forecasted products.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
+ CPA or MBA a plus.
+ Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.
+ Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
+ Proficient Excel skills required.
+ Knowledge of SAP and TM1 a plus.

Salary: $91,500 - $173,500
