Job Description Purpose The Finance Lead, Margin Reporting and Planning will lead the close process for margin ledger and facilitate its financial planning process. The Finance Lead is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting and planning of gross margin and all associated internal and external audit requirements. The margin information is reviewed and reconciled with the key stakeholders including but not limited to Commercial, Operations Finance, R&D, and Corporate FP&A. Responsibilities + Leads and develops margin reporting process including reconciliation from inventory ledger to margin ledger. + Operates independently to prepare the monthly foreign currency analysis for the deferred margin utilizing the inventory reports. + Works directly with cross functional teams on process and financial reporting to ensure complete, accurate and timely results. Understands monthly results and communicates issues to businesses supported. + Provides management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance and risk; assesses business/market opportunities and informs/recommends prioritization decisions. + Leads ad hoc analysis, projects and process improvements as needed and resolve margin questions from affiliate in a timely and accurate manner. + Complete the quarterly margin schedules for the Tax team, and support the annual planning process and provide affiliates with margin information. + Complete the quarterly reporting for external and internal auditors. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit and accounting-related requirements. + Maintain and execute effective system of financial reporting and disclosure controls of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance. + Cost Accounting experience in manufacturing highly desirable along with experience in supply chain finance operations. Qualifications Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required. + CPA or MBA a plus. + Minimum 5+ years of progressive and related experience. + Strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills. + Strong communication skills (verbal and written). + Proficient Excel skills required. + Knowledge of SAP and complex data analysis plus.
