Job Description
The Transparency Reporting Lead is responsible for performing comprehensive operational activities to support the company-wide Transparency Reporting program to meet its Federal and State Transparency reporting obligations. The Transparency Lead primarily conducts complex analyses, detailed data reviews, monitoring, and reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of transparency data. This position acts as a conduit between the Transparency Reporting solution and the business, facilitating the correction of errors by the business. The candidate must be hands-on, detail oriented, and possess strong organization, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The position may require candidate to create/update processes and related documentation, as needed. Additionally, this position works closely with Transparency IT, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), TPVs, Clinical Payments, OUS affiliates, PWC and R&D Finance.
Responsibilities
Ensures accuracy and completeness of all HCP/HCO transfer of value spend data gathered from internal and external source data systems.Conducts robust data analysis/validation and reconciliation of HCP spend data to ensure data integrity; determine trends and exceptions; identify and resolve issues; gather supporting documentation as needed.Supports the preparation of required federal and state payment reports including verifications and review of data.Provides status updates, data summaries, and escalation when applicable, to management.Defines audit plan and controls for transparency reporting program and perform / implement Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions.Recommends process improvements or other opportunities to streamline and improve overall processes/procedures.Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits.Liaise with Business/Activity Owner (Clinical Science, Drug Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs) and supporting functions (OEC, Procurement, Legal, IT, FP&A, Internal Controls) to ensure timely and satisfactory data collection, remediation/issue management, escalation and resolution is in place.Assists on all business support projects related to transparency reporting requirements.Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines with accurately reported data.Establishes and effectively manages timelines to ensure key tight reporting deadlines or project milestones are met on time and within budget.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Auditing role (prior Big 4 experience a plus).Prior Pharmaceutical industry experience required; basic understanding of clinical study costs and contracts.Advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and synthesize extensive or diverse data sets.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated experience successfully managing competing priorities and proven track record of meeting established deadlines.Highly proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and proven ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems/software.PowerBI experience highly desired.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
