Amazon MGM Studios' Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Finance Manager to support the business and finance teams, with a focus on managing Fixed Opex costs. This role will focus on both core financial planning cycles, including Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans, as well as ongoing controllership. Key job responsibilities
- Lead month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams, including PV and AMS finance, accounting, and business operations
- Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos
- Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
- Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
- Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Manage and mentor a senior financial analyst
