Working across Amazon Global Media & Entertainment, Talent and Content Services (1) leads key partnerships with artists, athletes, podcasters, authors, streamers, and more; (2) supports our Studio spaces that strive to create an industry leading experience where talent collaborates across multiple Amazon business, and (3) transforms Amazon audio into the world’s most trusted streaming audio service. We are looking for a Finance Manager to collaborate with the Talent and Content Services teams as well as Amazon leaders to build a cross-Amazon media business.

Key job responsibilities
The Amazon Entertainment Talent and Content Services team is looking for a Finance Manager to be a strategic partner and lead the development of talent deal financial processes and mechanisms, support the Studio experience for talent and Amazon businesses, and transform Amazon audio into the world’s most trusted streaming audio service.
This role will work across multiple teams, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Operations and will be a strategic partner for the Talent and Content Services business teams, build processes and develop tools from scratch, resolve escalations, and identify and drive projects to improve cross-business talent deal velocity and execution.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of the talent industry and experience working across businesses to align on financial impacts and processes for each deal. They should also have a robust understanding of accounting and finance concepts and terminology, and possess deep understanding of how to navigate operations within a large organization. They must have an operational and analytical mindset, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will:
* Work cross-functionally to support multi-business talent deal coordination and execution with teams across Media & Entertainment, Retail and Ads.
* Be a strategic partner (1) with the Talent Services operations team and help evaluate and develop deal structures, (2) develop enhancement and utilization growth plans across Studios, and (3) support trust and safety projects across Amazon audio launches.
* Develop mechanisms to enable complex performance tracking across businesses, talent deals, renovations, and program development.
* Proactively identify risks and manage mitigations by establishing policies, processes, and mechanisms.
* Develop clear and supportable financial modeling.
* Coordinate deal and overall financial summary reviews with leadership.
* Support Accounting and Tax operations.
* Regular planning and reporting for the Talent and Content Services budget.
