Purpose of Role
The purpose of the position is to manage the overall accounting and finance operations of Mondelez China External Manufacturing (“EM”) Sites to ensure the full compliance with the local and US GAAP requirements and drive cost competitiveness through providing in-depth financial analysis. In addition, this position will also lead key projects within supply chain finance community to drive accuracy, simplicity, and digitalization.
Main Responsibilities
1. Business partnering
Play a crucial role as finance business partner to EM leadership team. Provide professional supports and insights to drive growth, execution efficiencies and strong governances.
2. Accounting
Lead the timely closing of the US book and local book, provide accurate financial reports and ensure the full compliance with US/local GAAP’s.
3. Cost controlling
Support EM sites accomplishment of all financial targets by leading the budget preparation, identifying productivity opportunities via budget review and actual analysis.
4. Financial Analysis
Provide consultation and economical guidance such as financial analysis to enable the EM management to make correct decision on all investments and cost saving projects.
5. Control/Audits
To maintain a strong control environment by coordinating the control self-assessments, hosting internal and external audits, and drive the development and implementation of the action plans.
6. Finance Transformation and Projects
Lead major projects within supply chain finance community to drive accuracy, simplicity, and digitalization and transform supply chain finance team performance to the next level.
Personal Specifications
Qualified Degree in Finance or Accountancy, MBA preferred.8+ years of experience in finance & accounting in an MNC, familiar with US GAAP and local GAAP.5+ years in supply chain finance, plant experience preferred; E2E (end to end) supply chain experience, especially Procurement BP, is a plus.Project management, finance digitalization experience is a big plus.Proficient analytical skills, and sound understanding of the consumer goods industry.Experienced in leading a team, good at coaching.Resilient, can work under pressure.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsFluent in English.High mobility (in China or globally) is a plus.More about this role
