Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences  Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation  Duties & Responsibilities Supports tax projects by managing all aspects of the project, including development of macro/micro step plans, research tax topics, tax modeling/tax attributes, reviewing legal documents, and coordinating with cross-functional/global teams. Manages and implements international tax planning restructurings and projects in areas including repatriation planning, foreign tax credit planning, cross border funding, and holding company structures.  Monitor global tax law changes, summarize the impacts to Corning, and provide technical guidance to Tax Operations Support the documentation of tax positions and internal controls. Support Tax Controversy in domestic and international tax audits, assisting the gathering and strategic review of information. Supports Tax Operations to ensure Tax Planning projects are recorded appropriately in the tax provision and tax return. Partner with finance and other business areas with information and advice regarding tax matters, including planning matters around CHIPS and IRA tax credits. Liaise with outside advisors and consultants where appropriate. The role requires a self-starter who is a team player, who thinks strategically and communicates proactively. Experiences/Education - Required Degree in Finance or Accounting, or JD. 4+ years work experience in US international tax matters. Prior experience working with post-TCJA international tax models (GILTI, FDII, BEAT) strongly preferred. Working knowledge of regional tax issues, especially in Asia and Europe is a plus. Strategic problem solving, tax research, writing and presentation skills. Complex tax computation and modeling experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.  Ability to team and interface with others in tax, business units, and cross-functional departments.

The range for this position is  $141,071.00   -  $193,973.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
