Starbucks International Finance is seeking an experienced partner for a finance manager opportunity. The ideal candidate is an influential leader with proven results in building partnerships and initiating cross-functional initiatives to drive financial success. This person will bring the passion to lead successful teams, while championing continuous improvement and process transformation.

As an International Finance Partner, you will lead:

FP&A & Storytelling
•    Lead FP&A team supporting International’s annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial strategic plans
•    Consolidate International financial results and create a cohesive and concise story for leadership
•    Translate complex data and strategic insights into compelling narratives and presentations for executive leadership
•    Drive stakeholder engagement by telling a cohesive business story that supports International’s business strategy
•    Manage International segment budget in partnership with RC owners
KPI Reporting & Performance Management
•    Own, develop and maintain the compilation and communication of robust reporting packages that accurately gauge the financial health of the International business.
•    Improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance processes through standardization, advanced analytics, and automation. 
•    Ensure prioritization of KPI & reporting requests in alignment with organizational priorities.
Cross Functional & Regional Collaboration
•    Partner with finance teams in our International markets (China, Japan, Asia Pacific, EMEA and LAC) to drive global FP&A best practices and consistent story telling
•    Partner with CFP&A team to ensure requests are completed timely, accurately, & consistently
•    Partner with other teams across the finance org to bring best practices to International
•    Support Anaplan adoption to drive consistency and efficiencies around the globe.
Leadership & Communication
•    Lead and coach International FP&A team partners, fostering a collaborative environment focused on developing their skills, abilities, and financial acumen to build fact-based stories supporting business results.  
•    Drive Continuous Improvement mindset to lead positive change with a sense of urgency.
•    Manages the team’s day-to-day activities in support of business priorities.

We’d love to hear from people with:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or quantitative field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred 
•    7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and business planning, including presentations of financial analysis and recommendations to cross-functional and business unit leadership, preferably in retail and consumer industries 
•    3 to 5 years prior management or supervision experience strongly preferred but not required 
•    5 years of experience in data analytics, with advanced skills in Excel and other data analytics tools; ideal candidate also has experience in Hyperion, Tableau, Oracle, Anaplan, and other BI tools.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
