Finance Manager, Pool Programs

We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager, Pool Programs to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will drive profitable growth by partnering with leadership across the commercial functions in the segment. The scope of this role includes being the financial subject matter expert for the Pool segment’s dealer loyalty program and distributor rebate programs. In addition, this individual will provide financial consulting and strategic support to leadership including preparing financial presentations and ad hoc analytics. 

You will:

Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership. Continuously assess commercial program processes for opportunities for improved efficiency and effectivenessDirectly impact specific segment objectives by owning the distributor rebate programs and dealer loyalty programs and looking to simplify and automate where possible.Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, including all areas of revenue and discount waterfall.Develop financial models and forecast for major actions including but not limited to Sales, Dealer Rebates, Distributor Rebates, Volumes Discounts, Price ActionLead opex budgeting and forecast processes for commercial functions including Sales, Marketing and Customer ServiceDefine ROI measures for strategic growth investments.Develop financial models and forecast for major programs including the dealer loyalty program.Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations leadership to ensure financial reporting requirements are met for the dealer loyalty program.Actively support Pentair’s data analytics initiative through becoming knowledgeable in the use of necessary reporting/visualization tools and contribute to dashboard development and data validation.Special projects as required to support both segment- and business unit-level activities.

Key Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree with Finance or Accounting major; MBA, CMA, or CPA desirableMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Operational Finance, or ControllershipMinimum of 3 years people management experienceThorough understanding of general accepted accounting principles and financial/business processesHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience working with OneStream, Cognos, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.Experience working with SAP S4 Hana, Strongly Preferred.Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to complete necessary analytical reports and provide written commentary and interpretation.Forward thinker and problem solver with excellent strategic and tactical planning skillsDemonstrated project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under a tight deadline.Continuous improvement mindset and collaborative approach to problem solving.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
