Finance Manager

Labcorp is hiring a Finance Manager. This position will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package, the preparation of all SEC filings (Form 8-K, Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Proxy), completion of various monthly close activities, conducting technical accounting research and writing technical accounting memos and the coordination of audit efforts. This position works under tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger accounting and reporting along with analyses and reconciliation preparation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare the monthly financial reporting package using Hyperion Financial Management and Workiva/WdeskPrepare all SEC filings (Form 8-K, Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Proxy) and file these forms with the SEC utilizing Workiva software, including iXBRL tagging and certificationsPerform various month end accounting tasksComplete quarterly financial disclosure checklistsComplete and maintain quarterly tie out of all SEC filingsConducting technical accounting research and writing technical accounting memosCross functional team coordination (FP&A, segment accounting teams)Manage audit requests, internal and externalConduct process and internal financial control procedure reviewsEvaluate current procedures for innovation and automationProjects and ad hoc requests as necessary

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of related business experience, with demonstrated career progression, including a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience. Deadline oriented with excellent time management skillsVery organized and detail orientedAbility to multitask in a fast pace environmentExcellent in MS Excel, while proficient in all MS Office ProgramsKnowledge of GAAP concepts, terminologyProblem analysis and problem solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong team player who able to work and influence across multiple functionsAdaptable to changeWdesk and XBRL tagging experience highly recommendedBachelor’s Degree in Accounting  CPA preferred

Pay Range: $88,005 - $148,600 annual salary
