Serving as the key partner for the Business Unit Manager of the PAPI P&P (Pulp & Paper) Solutions, Process Industries, Process Automation you will be a vital member of the finance team in Westerville, Ohio. You will help to set business strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies.You will be acting as a business partner to the relevant business managers and lead local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within Process Automation Process Industry. You will be supporting in effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.

Your responsibilities

Contribute to the planning process for the business unitPartner with relevant business leader in determining strategy for their area of responsibility, developing implementation and monitoring planEnable strategy translation into detailed business plans and monitors measurable targetsDrive business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibilityLead cross functional initiatives that support strategic goalsDrive the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within their area of responsibilityLead, provide guidance and participate or facilitate best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practicesEnsure timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibilityEnsure transparency in financial reporting and disclosuresDefine and implement internal controls regarding financial and non financial operationsAssess business risk exposure and define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performanceIdentify and communicate financial risks and opportunities from business propositionsEstablish and drive processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business informationEnsure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required with minimum 10 years of experience in related fieldAccountingFinancial AnalysisPerformance and People ManagementOperational ExcellenceRisk Management and Internal ControlsData AnalyticMust be willing to work in office with a Hybrid schedule located in Westerville, OH.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
