Description: Large payments company in the SF Bay Area is looking for a Sr. Finance Manager to support projects within their Global Marketing team! The Sr. Finance Manager will work closely with finance teams across five of the company's global regions to develop a holistic view of marketing activities, investments, and strategies. This role will leverage data and analysis to provide strategic support to the CMO and will communicate key insights into marketing investments to the Global Corporate Finance team. The role will also provide financial and decision support to the company's growing Marketing Services business, an integral part of their global revenue growth strategy. Responsibilities: + Strategic Planning and Analytics: + Become a trusted business partner to multiple business units and executive management, including the CMO + Partner with stakeholders to create business cases and execute complex financial modeling and analysis + Identify and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making + Financial Management: + Lead preparation of the consolidated annual business plan and analysis for Worldwide Marketing + Interpret and present key findings directly to senior leaders + Enable management by providing timely and accurate information + Understand business drivers and recommend measures to further improve results + Establish efficient processes for quarterly and monthly performance reporting + Project Management: + Spearhead ad hoc projects to further improve the overall performance of the team and organization(s) + Support senior finance leadership on investment / project decisions + Provide thought leadership and guidance over core processes building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables for optimal result + Business Engagement: + Partner closely with the Global Marketing strategy and planning team; attend team meetings/develop understanding of the business + Prepare and develop tailored, effective presentations, analysis and dialogue with strategy partners + Provide timely, meaningful views on business performance + Engage in dialogue around budget and spend to optimize budget and investments, incorporating return-on-investment discipline + Collaborate closely with colleagues located in regional hubs around the world Skills: Finance, Financial analysis, financial planning, Financial statement, Financial, Financial reporting, Reporting, hyperion, excel, marketing, financial modeling Top Skills Details: Finance,Financial analysis,financial planning Additional Skills & Qualifications: + 7+ years of progressive finance and FP&A experience is required + Experience supporting a publicly traded company is required + Experience managing financial analysts in a team setting is preferred + Experience using Hyperion preferred + Intermediate Excel skills required Experience Level: Expert Level About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
