MAU is hiring a Finance Manager for our client in Indianapolis, IN. As a Finance Manager, you will provide broad finance support to a growing business, involving financial control, planning and analysis, and business partnering. The selected candidate will contribute to various special projects as the finance team expands. This is a contract, long-term assignment.

Shift Information Monday – Friday – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis OR Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD General Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with SAP Familiarity with financial reporting Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment Quick to pick up tasks and responsibilities Preferred Requirements CPA or MBA Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Reporting Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry Familiarity with VBM, HFM, and Oracle systems Essential Functions Support the monthly financial reporting process by posting journals, completing actual and forecast schedules, and providing variance analysis with supporting commentary Provide business partnering services as needed Assist in developing and maintaining the Strategic Plan, Five-Year Plan, and in-year forecasts, and assess opportunities, threats, and levers Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, validate and explain key movements, and address key control items as required Present financial data to management, with the ability to validate and explain relevant accounting policies, principles, and procedures Enhance financial processes and ensure their alignment with related procedures Research and review accounting issues, offering recommendations and support Support developing and maintaining long-term project and contract profit plans, including Long-Term Contract Reviews (LTCRs) Provide ad hoc support, such as contract billings, payments, and miscellaneous financial analysis, as the finance team needs MAU does not offer any sponsorship assistance for this role.
