Primary Responsibilities

Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to deliver on business objectives.Provide Support for Month End Reporting, Forecasting, & Budget ProcessMaintain financial databases, providing accurate profitability analysis for a business unitPreparation of periodic financial reports and ad hoc analysis to support leadershipDevelopment and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demandsPlay a key role in the preparation of the Quarterly Financial Operations ReviewParticipate in strategic financial projects including SAP upgrades and other various financial software implementationsResponsible for business unit P&L variance analysis and explanationsIdentify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements

Requirements

Knowledge:

Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel & Microsoft AccessPrevious SAP and/or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is a plusProficiency in accounting, and financial analysisFlexible, self-starter with ability to work independentlyDetail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvementTeam-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive mannerResults driven individual with a track record to supportExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsProject management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detailStrong analytical skills

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance5+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporationExperience leading/managing projects highly desiredExperience within a global manufacturing organization with multiple reporting units preferred
