Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager for our Clark County Head Start facilities. The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to Accounting/Finance, and financial administration of Federal and State granting sources. The position aids in the review and analysis of multiple funding sources and expense allocations, and budget monitoring to actual expenses for all contracts. The Finance Manager will participate in financial audits, program reviews, and various general Accounting/Finance tasks. Accounts Payable/Receivable & Budgeting • Participates in the preparation and review of vouchers, which includes processing invoices for payment and inputting data into the Accounting System software • Payment processing and reconciliation • Monthly employee expense review and processing • Prepare and file quarterly taxes • Payroll processing • In collaboration with Director of Finance work to meet contractual requirements and deliverables as required by state contracts • Periodic contract reviews and financial audits • Manage expense allocations • Support preparation and submittal of budgets to contracted funding sources Additional Responsibilities: • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assigned department personnel.
