The Finance Manager will oversee all financial accounting functions for our client, as well as specific accounting responsibilities for their associated companies. This role also includes performing assigned administrative and accounting tasks as required. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Team Leadership:** Mentor and collaborate with the finance team, managing daily operations and team activities. + **Banking & Compliance:** Oversee daily banking activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements. + **Cross-Department Collaboration:** Work closely with both local and global teams to align financial operations with business objectives, providing insightful financial analysis and support. + **Tax & Legal Compliance:** Ensure strict adherence to tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across the organization. + **Strategic Financial Leadership:** Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead the development of long-term financial strategies and policies to promote financial stability and minimize business risks. **General Accounting Duties:** + **Financial Reporting:** Prepare financial statements and reporting documents in accordance with established standards. + **Cash Flow Management:** Monitor daily cash operations, ensure optimal cash flow, manage funds allocation, and maximize cash utilization. + **Month-End Close:** Manage and oversee month-end closing activities. + **Balance Sheet Reconciliation:** Support and perform accurate balance sheet reconciliations. + **Forecasting & Budgeting:** Manage the forecasting and budgeting process, analyze trends and variances, with a focus on capital expenditures, personnel costs, and operating expenses. + **Audit & Risk Management:** Participate in internal and external audit processes, identify financial risks, and enhance internal controls to ensure financial stability. **Qualifications:** + Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. + 10+ years of general accounting experience, with 3-5 years of experience leading an accounting team. + Significant experience in the manufacturing industry. + Proficiency in managing accounts for foreign entities. + Exposure to merger and acquisition environments. _PrincePerelson & Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
