Finance Manager
Responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting functions for the Condiments division. This includes periodic reporting of financial results, variance analysis versus plan and prior year, forecasts, the annual budget process, data consolidation and special projects. Partner with divisional finance team to provide financial guidance and analytics to support key decision making to help ensure that the division objectives are achieved. Actively participate in key finance functional initiatives. In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team member to ensure their success, while also achieving team and organizational goals. Job Description:

Position Responsibilities:

Coordinate the completion and communication of the consolidated division annual budget, monthly forecast and periodic financial results reporting.Work with the Division team on new business opportunities, trade ROI analysis and P&Ls.Work with key division finance leaders and center functions to analyze consolidated financial results; providing specific, actionable and forward looking commentary on various changes and variances as well as guidance on potential opportunities and risks to the division’s financial performance.Key contact for the division finance team in identifying and communicating to Leadership key consolidated business drivers; influence decisions that go along with them through value added analysis.Lead development and implementation of necessary processes to support internal forecasting and reporting requirements; serve as the key contact for providing information to the Division Finance team.Key lead to coordinate the completion of division business presentations (budget, forecast, monthly and quarterly result reviews).Interact proactively with key internal customers; including Corporate FP&A, various cross functional finance groups, Division Leads, Sales and Senior Management.Lead/represent division in various finance-wide projects, projects will vary depending on business needs.Provide formal and informal training on financial concepts and systems to finance and cross functional team members.Oversee the day-to-day activities and professional development of one direct report. Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as required.

Qualifications:

Seven plus years of experience in financial analysis and data management preferably within CPG industry, or related accounting and finance experience.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required - MBA/CPA a plus.

Core Knowledge/Skills or Experience:

Experience with P&L management, knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.Self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with at least 1 year of experience managing others.Business/Finance Partnering:  proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively managing those relationships.Project Management: experience leading multiple stage projects from conception to completion.Systems and Tools:  proficiency managing and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools, such as SAP and supporting applications.Cross-functional Dependencies:  experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.Forecasting:  experience accurately forecasting in a given area and understanding the key drivers of that area.Critical Thinking: leverage analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful financial strategies and solutions.Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic knowledge of general business concepts.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); SAP, BPC and BI experience preferred.
