The Direct To Consumer (DTC) finance team are accountable for the financial management of Disney+ in EMEA, The Walt Disney Company’s DTC entertainment service, which is available in 70 markets.
We have a great opportunity for an existing Finance Manager who has a strong media background and excellent stakeholder management skills, to join us.
The role sits in our Regional and UK DTC finance team and supports local and global content cost lines.
This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
What You Will DoReview and consolidate EMEA local content spend for financial planning cycles (Close, Forecast & Annual Operating plan)Prepare US local content submissionsBusiness support for UK and regional acquisition and programming teamsTrack global content slate and costsPartner with the programming team to appraise the localisation strategy by analysing KPIs and return on investmentFinance representative in cross-function process mappingDevelop close relationships with the wider EMEA Finance team, with a ‘one team’ approach and build a network across lines of business, markets, Burbank and controllership, sharing resources and knowledgeAdopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the wider D+ finance and business teamsRequired Qualifications & Skills ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualificationSignificant experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis Comfortable working with large volumes of data, preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision-makingExperience in presentations will be usefulWorking in an equivalent role within the Media sector is a big plusWorking with financial IT systems, SAP/BW, Cognos Reporting and excellent proven Excel skillsThe Perks 25 days annual leavePrivate medical insurance & dental careFree Park Entry: You will have the opportunity to enter any of our parks with your family and friends for freeDisney Discounts: you are entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort F&B and ticketingExcellent parental and guardian leaveEmployee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney DIVERSITY, Disney PRIDE, ENABLED, and our Mental Health & Wellbeing Group, TRUST.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
