Position Purpose

The Finance Manager role is a strategic business partner to multiple Sleep Number leaders that provides decision support through financial leadership, quantitative modeling, analytical insights, and thought partnership. This position will support enhancing the customer experience and to maximize top and bottom line Company performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Be a strong partner to sales and relationship center leaders; prepare and present financial expectations and results to functional teams; teach and help navigate the business using key financial and operational metricsIndirect supervision of forecasting and budgeting processesProvide financial statement analysis, insight, and business performance reporting including revenue and expense analysisOffer decision support and insight to allow business leaders to design and implement profitable business strategy decisionsKey project work will include business case development, metric analysis, and senior management supportReporting work will include monthly business review documents, weekly and monthly KPI reporting

Position Requirements 

6+ years of progressive financial analysis experience preferably in a decision support capacityBA/BS Degree in business/finance/accounting/economics/related field; MBA preferredAnalytical skills, strong partnering & education skills to support work with non-financial management teamsAdvanced financial modeling and analysis skills; forecast model building & experience a plusExperience developing, following and continually improving monthly / quarterly processes / toolsStrong business acumen and understanding of profit growth driversStrong attention to detail and ability to present complex information in a usable format to a diverse audienceAbility to navigate a fact paced environment and embrace ambiguityAdvanced Excel skills; Intermediate PowerPoint,  & Word skills;Knowledge of Oracle accounting systems and BI tools (OBIEE, Essbase)Self-driven, persuasive, independent and analytical thinker
