Finance Manager

What this job involves:

Financial & management reporting

In this role, you’ll be our clients’ go-to person for all financial matters. Without you, the proper allocation of funds will not be possible for them.

Primarily, you’ll be on the top of the processes and oversee all client billing, PO and vendor invoices processed by executives and AFMs are on timely manner, the month end/year end accrual submitted is accurate and MoM variance is explainable. From JLL financial perspective, you will ensure we recognize the right revenue & cost on monthly basis and facilitate the internal support to be able to manage the internal reporting for the account.

Planning & decision making

Serving as the backbone of the organization, you will get your hands in a lot of planning and decision-making. You will be in charge of Client Opex/Capex budgeting and forecasting. On the other hand, you will get involvement in implementing new planning tools, automating the quarterly reconciliation process and enhancing the BI reporting for the client.

You are a key person in the business decision making for human resources, Capex planning or spending plan.

Business Partnering

You will be accountable for the successful delivery of the financial & management accounting services, forecasting and budgeting as defined in the client contract supporting the Regional Account Director and the account team in handling business, operational, financial decision making and risk mitigation. You will deal with multiple business line leaders of the account and provide the best financial advices.

You will serve as a key contact for the financial service delivery and manage the team to drive performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

Team management

Manage staffs in the team from junior staff handling POs to senior staff assisting system implementation and client reporting. Be open and transparent to the team and look after staffs’ career development.

Regional exposure

10 countries to support including India, South East Asia, North East Asia and Australia.

Smart and experienced

You have a degree in finance, accounting certification preferred with at least 12 years of experience including 5 years with regional exposure. You are able to think strategically, solve problems and make decisions. You will have a real passion and interest for the industry, coupled with excellent business partnering & commercial finance experience.

Capable

You pay strong attention to detail and possess excellent problem solving skills. You have good work ethic and a positive attitude with a “can do” mind-set and will follow through on issues. You are also a self-starter with the ability to priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Team player

You are team player who promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates and peers, regularly contributes to team discussions and problem solving/ brainstorming sessions. You are also an effective listener and communicator.

Initiative

You are initiative and self-motivated. You seek innovation and actively source for opportunities to achieve best results.
