Finance Manager
Job Title: Finance Manager Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at our Bio-Sterile manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. This is an onsite role with a work schedule from Monday to Friday during business hours. The Finance Manager will lead financial reporting and technical accounting applications, ensuring US GAAP compliance, implementation of new accounting rules, internal controls support, year-end close, audit support, product cost maintenance, inventory management, and management reporting. Responsibilities + Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. + Maintain product costs in Oracle. + Manage OPM, including copying costs, closing WIP batches, running pre-processor, creating accounting, and opening Orgs. + Check for inventory manufacturing management. + Support the Site MRB Review process. + Perform inventory write-offs, reserves analysis, and highlight potential risks. + Conduct quarterly 3rd party WHSE visits, inventory count audits, and monitor WHSE cycle counts. + Track manufacturing overhead and absorption, and perform monthly closing. + Analyze manufacturing variance, WIP, and PPV. + Track and report headcount and department expenses. + Participate in Business Unit meetings, prepare financial results packages, and cost data for discussion. + Work with business leaders to establish reporting and provide analysis to assist operations in achieving and driving performance. + Manage fixed assets, capital reporting, CIP review, fixed asset reporting, and depreciation calculations. + Review and reconcile payroll to GL. + Perform balance sheet account reconciliations. + Manage budget and projections for select departments. + Assist with internal and external audits as needed. + Represent Finance in site forums/meetings and share financial results. + Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with regulations. + Act as the back-up for the Finance Associate Director as required. + Perform ad hoc analysis as needed. + Interact with Operations Business Owners for SOX internal controls and spending monitoring to ensure awareness and compliance. + Occasionally interact with employees from other manufacturing sites to discuss new regulations and laws and ensure alignment. + Limited contact with external customers, governmental officials, inspectors, vendors, and suppliers. Essential Skills + BA or BS in Accounting and/or Finance. + CPA preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience. + At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing finance experience. + Proven analytical skills with the ability to drive strategy and understand the impact across the organization. + Excellent problem-solving skills. + Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. + Ability to set rigorous technical/architectural standards while speaking the language of the business. + Team player with the ability to interact with all levels and work in a cross-functional team environment. + Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. + Strong customer focus with the ability to recognize the impact of decisions on end users. + Proficient in Oracle, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
