**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Finance Manger manages related activities associated with the financial accounting, reporting and analysis process for HealthTrust sourcing initiatives. The financial accounting and analysis responsibilities include month-end close, financial ad hoc analysis, stat reporting, oversight of inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, departmental financial reporting and other financial information as requested. This position reports to the Senior Director of Financial Reporting.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Reviews and prepare journal entries and coordinates month-end close process.
+ Oversees inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes for multiple lines of business.
+ Review and approve third party invoices.
+ Review and approve monthly account reconciliations.
+ Performs COID reviews using misc. reporting, Business Objects (BOBJ), SMART, and Host GL during month end to ensure accounts are properly stated.
+ Prepares customer and line of business margin analysis, researching and correcting any identified issues.
+ Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the general ledger, inventory, billing, and accounts payable systems used for completion of queries and other ad hoc reporting for both accounting and other internal/external departments. Conduct training of other departments and users on system functionality and capabilities.
+ Develops and implements automation of certain manual processes to improve department efficiency.
+ Full supervisory responsibility of two-three direct reports with direct responsibility and ownership of multiple key controls.
+ Manages and directs a staff of financial/accounting analysts
+ Prepares annual departmental budgets in collaboration with departmental leaders
+ Review and improve financial analysis policies and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
+ Provides complex ad hoc financial and statistical reports and analyses as requested by HealthTrust leadership
+ Prepare and/or review complex financial analyses
+ Hire, train and develop financial staff
+ Assists in rebate and administrative fee projections, collections and reporting as needed
+ Interacts with both internal and external individuals
+ Provides both positive feedback and constructive criticism and works with analysts to improve performance when needed
+ Accepts feedback well and works to improve performance when needed
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
+ 5+ years of relevant experience
