Description We are in the process of adding a Finance Manager to our team, based in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will be a key part of our finance team, focusing on data insights, reporting, and supporting leaders in planning and decision-making. Responsibilities: • Keeping track of and recording all relevant accounts receivable • Assisting in completing audits in a timely manner • Ensuring the financial records of the Foundation are well-maintained • Collaborating with the Assistant VP of Finance in overseeing financial activities • Supporting the Assistant VP of Finance and the Accounts Payable Specialist in the monthly closing of the general ledger, which includes bank reconciliations and monthly journal entries • Handling deposits of checks and cash • Stepping in for the Accounts Payable Specialist during extended leaves • Streamlining the process of receiving and recording student payments, including tuition • Submitting nutrition claims to the Department of Public Instructions • Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements to meet organizational objectives • Participating in committee meetings as needed and preparing meeting minutes • Taking on additional ad-hoc projects and reporting tasks as assigned Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Finance Manager • Proficient in 3M software • Experience with Concur expense management system • Ability to proficiently use CRM software • Knowledge and experience with Crystal Reports • Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques • Proficiency with About Time software • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Experience in developing and managing Annual Budgets • Proficiency in Auditing procedures • Well-versed in Budget Processes • Experience with Fund Accounting in a Non-Profit setting • Knowledge of Non-profit Accounting • Proficiency in Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with Month-end Close Activities • Ability to perform Month-end Journal Entries • Experience in Monthly Account Reconciliation • Familiarity with bi-Monthly Payroll procedures • Proficiency in using Sage Accounting Software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
