Description We are in search of a Part Time Finance Manager to become part of our client's team. The role is based in Portland, Maine and is a short term contract opportunity . As a Finance Manager, you will be expected to maintain financial records, handle bookkeeping tasks, manage end of month closures, and utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions. Responsibilities • Oversee all daily bookkeeping duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Manage the month end close process to ensure timely completion • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and processes • Conduct year-end financial tasks as needed • Handle any necessary reconciliations to keep financial records up-to-date • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline accounting functions • Manage accounts payable (AP) to ensure all financial obligations are met • Oversee budget processes to ensure financial stability • Perform auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Must be able to manage all Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. • Proficiency in Auditing procedures is a must. • Must be familiar with Budget Processes. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required. • Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary.
