Description
We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Financial Analyst to join our healthcare organization. This position will play a pivotal role in assisting with budgeting, financial planning, and analysis to ensure the financial health and sustainability of our operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management within the healthcare space and work closely with leadership to enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the development and preparation of the annual budget for multiple departments and units within the healthcare organization.
+ Assist with variance analysis to track budget performance and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
+ Collaborate with senior management to establish financial goals and objectives.
+ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to key stakeholders.
+ Perform detailed financial analysis, including forecasting, trend analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
+ Evaluate and recommend financial strategies to optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Assist with the preparation of financial statements, providing insight into key performance indicators and operational metrics.
+ Ensure that financial processes are streamlined and adhere to best practices in the healthcare industry.
+ Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and HR, to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget alignment.
+ Provide training and guidance on financial processes to non-financial managers and staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
5+ years of financial analysis experience, with a focus in the healthcare industry.
Proven experience with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare financial systems, regulations, and reimbursement structures.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP and financial reporting software preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
