*Purpose of the role:* As*Finance Manager*you will apply your leadership skills as well as your knowledge of the latest accounting laws and procedures in order ensure the accurate compilation and analysis of CWT Hungary’s financial information. In this role you are also expected to be a proactive agent of change, making recommendations, improvement suggestions and spearhead any new process or tool implementations. This role also requires great diligence and attention to detail as you will provide data and documentation for internal and external audits. *Main responsibilities:* * Manage and supervise a team of two financial professionals * Lead and manage accounting operations * Supervise and monitor the accounting process including general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets and cash management * Prepare, file and sign VAT declarations and other reports (CIT, LBT etc) to tax and statistical local authorities * Monitor & submit payroll related declarations * Manage Transfer Pricing activity * Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors * Interact with Tax Authority/ Regulators and comply with any settlements * Conduct month-end close process and reconciliation of accounts * Manage the monthly/quarterly/yearly closing process and statutory reporting in an accurate and prompt way * Prepare financial statements according to Hungarian Accounting Standards * Proactively work on improving accounting process * Act as an agent of change during times of transitions when new tools or systems come into play * · Participate and provide support onGroup initiatives/projects #LI-HYBRID #LI-MS *Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)* * Fluent in Hungarian and English * Registered Certified Chartered Accountant * Degree in Accounting/Finance & other relevant certifications * Min. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with people management responsibilities * Previous experience in a multinational company * Strong operational experience with Hungarian accounting standards & VAT law * Fluency in MS Excel * Ability to liaise with different levels of management * Excellent communication skills, empathy and team spirit * Ability to multitask and work towards strict deadlines * Project Management skills * Previous experience in managing projects involving new system implementations, data transfers, general migrations * Experience with external auditing bodies & preparing for audits * Strong analytical skills & data mining * Leadership * Passion * Caring * Integrity **Job:** **Accounting* **Organization:** **Finance* **Title:** *Finance Manager* **Location:** *Budapest* **Requisition ID:** *2500002W*
