One of Aston Carter's top clients, a private equity backed supply chain solutions company, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Langhorne, PA. This role would start out as a contractor with the goal for you to go permanent after the contract period! This role would have the opportunity to build and shape the department around them as well as set up the team's operating rhythm, after completing a GL clean-up project to start the role. This role would also have international visibility into other areas of the business. See below for more information!

This person will be responsible for clean up of general ledger accounting & invoicing for the newly acquired company. Once that is done they will own the financial and accounting function. They will report to the COO (is USA) and CFO (sits in Sweden). The position has a sole responsibility for accounting, analysis, liquidity planning, budget and to provide data to support business decisions. Responsibility also includes to shape and develop the finance function and related company processes in cooperation with other local managers within Sales and Operations.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Accounting including reconciliations, accruals and balance sheet reconciliationsAccounts receivable and accounts payable including reconciliation of ledgersMonth-end closing, analysis and reporting to group accounting Prepare annual reports, tax returns and all related type of statutory reportingBudget, forecast and related analysisContacts with colleagues in Dallas (Operations hub for Americas), Würzburg, Germany (internal supplier of parcels) and Stockholm, Sweden (Group HQ).Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar degree3+ years of experience at a manager or above level working for an international private equity company (TBD Revenue level)2+ years of experience utilizing business central ERP 3+ years of experience handling GL Accounting, intercompany invoicing, internal controls, reconciliations, month end close, annual reporting, & analysis for an international PE Firm 5+ years of experience with creating pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formulas and data manipulations within Microsoft ExcelIf you are interested, please send in an application!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
