BCG Nexus Costa Rica is an exciting new office that will execute best-in-class operations, serving the broader BCG business. Nexus Costa Rica is a hub for regional and global functional teams to be co-located in a dynamic and engaging space, enabling team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base. This diverse set of business services teams will cover functions such as administrative support, visual services, talent acquisition, Finance and IT. The office is expected to expand its employee base significantly over the next few years. As a member of the North America Regional Finance Shared Services team, based in Costa Rica, the Finance Manager will be involved with the finance operations for 26 BCG offices in North America including the key areas of financial management, project management, client contract management, and revenue and cash management. This role will lead a team of 8–10 employees across various levels and support the rollout of the Contract-to-Cash Center of Excellence. As part of the North America Commercial Finance Team, the position will focus on delivering high-quality financial services to case teams across the region while driving process innovation and standardization.What You'll Do
Contract-to-CashThe Contract-to-Cash team of the Shared Services group is responsible for ensuring key components of client financial management are performed accurately and efficiently to ensure billability and efficient operations as part of a Center of Excellence in North America. The team partners closely with the North America Commercial Finance Team on shared initiatives such as analyzing financial performance against our annual targets (e.g. Days Sales Outstanding). Additionally, the team ensures data integrity, performs regular reconciliations, and liaises with a variety of business teams to enhance internal processes and achieve process improvements and standardization. The Finance Manager will grow to become a subject matter expert on ClientView, BCG’s in-house system for end-to-end case management, and provide guidance to the team and ensure activities are performed accurately and efficiently. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for providing leadership, training, and support for a large team under the Finance Director, managing internal controls and reconciliations of all transactions, processes, and communication of reporting to management. The Finance Manager will be responsible for any Contract-to-Cash related analysis and reporting as necessary. Innovation and CentralizationThe Finance Manager will assist Finance Leadership in strengthening our shared service model to streamline and standardize our finance processes across North America. The individual in this role will work with management to identify and implement best practices to scale our operations as efficiently and effectively as possible under the shared service model. Working with multiple stakeholders across the Finance, Legal, and IT organizations, the Finance Manager will manage projects leveraging our various accounting, project management, and reporting systems to unlock efficiencies and optimize our internal finance and accounting operations.What You'll Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with 5+ years of business experience required, MBA preferred.· 3+ years of experience managing multiple direct reports.· Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation experience with the ability to turn data into business insights.· Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a challenging, fast-paced, and growth environment.· Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff; displays customer service-oriented behavior.· Ability to work with interruptions, is a dependable and cooperative team player.· Utilizes sound judgment in dealing with workflow and uncertain situations.High level of initiative and resourcefulness – results oriented, self-motivated, reliable.· Experience with data analytic tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Power BI is desired.· Oracle Financial Systems and/or SAP, as well as Business Objects experience is desired.· Exposure to big data analysis, trend analysis, and process improvements required.Who You'll Work With
As part of the North America Regional Finance Shared Services team, you will partner closely with other regional Finance teams and local Finance teams in BCG locations across North America.
