The Opportunity:

Our location in Lake Bluff, Illinois, currently has an opportunity for a Finance Manager to support our  Business & Technology Services, office of the CIO.

The Finance Manager provides FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) support to the Corporate Business & Technology Services (BTS) organization. Oversees financial processes and activities and provides analytics to support strategic business decisions.

What You'll Work On:

Serves as a business partner for the following business units within Corporate BTS organization: Enterprise Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, Commercial Delivery Services, and Abbott Nutrition IT.Leveraging Abbott Shared Services organization, oversees monthly close activities, provides clear and meaningful financial reporting and commentary. Ensures compliance and champions internal controls and procedures.Develops forecasts, prepares supporting analytics and review materials for presentation to Chief Information officer (CIO). Manages risks and opportunities through the use of external and internal signals and data. Develops contingency plans. Partners with the business to define, review and analyze the projects. Assists with preparation and review of Requests for Capital Expenditure (RCEs). Provides analytical support for contracts’ negotiations.Drives continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes.Manages a team of two financial analysts. Attracts talent and actively promotes positive team environment by coaching and mentoring. Prioritizes development and continuous learning.

  

Education and Experience You Will Bring:

Degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.At least 7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and accountingSupervisory / management experienceProficient with financial modeling, systems, tools including Excel, Hyperion Essbase and SAP.Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills, ability to interact with senior leadershipAbility to synthesize complex, technical issues and summarize with relevancy and clarity.Ability to manage many competing priorities and execute in a pressurized environment.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
