Our Finance team works as a strategic business partner to the organization, helping to ensure that Teradyne makes sound financial decisions. As a member of the finance team, your work, whether it is modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. We are looking for a Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who excels at working on multiple projects and is focused on the details while finding creative ways to address big picture challenges. This is a high visibility role with Executive level exposure.

Opportunity Overview 

The successful candidate will have cumulative experience of 8-10 years with demonstrated advancement progress and superior analytical, framing and messaging skills. The candidate needs to be a driver in a high growth company and contribute at a high strategic level as well as be an individual contributor.

 

Serve as manager to select members of Teradyne’s Corporate FP&A team, this is a small but high stakes/high visibility team Supervise G&A Financial Analyst and be accountable for budgeting and financial reporting for Central G&A functions (Information Technology, Finance/Insurances, Human Resources, Legal, Investor/Corporate Relations, Corporate Development, Executive Management, Real Estate & Facilities) Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts; Teradyne will be embarking on an ERP upgrade – key enhancement opportunities exist in business case planning, workforce planning, risk and opportunity assessments, business partnering Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with functional and general managers to nurture cross-sharing of communications; keep business partners updated on emerging issues and company strategies and direction, strategic initiatives, and periodic operational reviews Assist VP of Corporate FP&A with any corporate development efforts (performing merger math and validate DCF model and business cases on acquisitions and other strategic relationships) Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed

 

Indicative Deliverables

Consolidated company annual operating plans based on inputs from executive management and other key functions within the company, monitoring variances to plan, and recommending operational changes to improve company results Investor relations packages, including earnings call slides and investor presentations, post earnings call analysis summarizing the analysts’ commentary, peer group comparable company analysis (fundamentals and valuation statistics) Board of director packages (presentations and Director’s Letters) and other executive level presentations Mid-Term Plans, Corporate Earnings and Guidance Models

 

All About You

Cumulative experience of 8-12 years including corporate finance with solid analytical skills Experience in developing companywide planning processes and systems between various organizational levels and functions Record of self-motivation, natural curiosity, independent and analytical thinking, problem solving, continuous process improvement, and excellent organization and communication/presentation skills Ability to liaise across the business, often outside a finance capacity Must be a collaborator with ability to effectively interface with all types of people Highly proficient in Hyperion Essbase or similar ERP tool, plus Excel and PowerPoint Experience managing a small team

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting a plus
