Job Description

You will serve as a critical partner and advisor, providing financial analysis, planning, and reporting support for Experian North America's Financial Services and Data Analytics (FSD) Business Unit. You will be an individual contributor, reporting to the Senior Finance Director, FSD and collaborate with business leaders within one of the largest business units in the North America region, influencing strategic decisions and offering insights to drive business results and support growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage the planning, organizing and execution of the annual revenue budget, annual long-term strategic plan, monthly forecast and quarterly business updatesDesign and develop reports that will give valuable understanding of historical and future financial projections that support decision making and could lead to actionable opportunitiesDevelop financial analytics to leverage data and identify key insights and opportunitiesCollaborate and support cross regional and global teams to achieve impactful results and provide analytic support to track progress against financial goalsOwn core FP&A processes such as month end close, monthly financial forecasting and reporting, variance explanations and financial presentationsPrepare financial highlights for Executive presentations and reportingSupport management team on ad hoc requestsDrive for continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and reporting through new tools, dashboards, and streamline processes to drive scalable analysis and insight

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, related8 years of relevant experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar environment, including FP&A and project management experienceExperience communicating effectively with executives, including experience with presentation of financial data to senior leadership in the organizationExperience distilling financial analyses for leadership teams and conveying complex issues in a simple manner and effective interaction with all levels within the organizationExperience managing projects end-to-end and a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing, and prioritizing deadlines, as well as balancing between detailed tasks and high-level summaries with accuraciesExcel skills; Experience of financial systems and tools including OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase and Smartview
