Finance Manager (Operations) - (UK, Hybrid)
Location: Warrington Plant/Hybrid
Purpose:
This position is key within the Controllership organization. It will have primary Controllership responsibility for the European (EU) Industrial Manufacturing Operation located in Warrington, United Kingdom.
Reporting to the EU Controller and Finance Director (FD) Industrial Operations combined with strong links to the FD FP&A and the Plant Manager. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the Manufacturing Plant operates in an effective control environment, mitigating the risk of financial misstatement, financial irregularity, and fraud.

Analysis and reporting of Plant fixed costsAnalysis and reporting of headcountAnalysis and reporting of Plant variable costsMaintaining/improving distribution volume and costs modelBusiness partnering the Plant Manager, continuously challenging/supporting initiativesFixed asset management, supporting the capitalization processes and auditsSupport the preparation of business plans, budget and forecastsPortfolio Rationalization 80:20 Analytics (supported cross-function)Maintain various Scorecards / KPI indicatorsFinancial Statement Close & ReportingROI Assessment for all aspects of OperationsInventory Analytics, Reporting & Development in coordination with S&OPWorking Capital Review & AssessmentSupport non-production overhead analytics & Assessment: IT, Engineering (SGA)Ad hoc ProjectsMeet reporting deadlines ensuring the highest standards of data integrity are maintained
The Person (requirements):
Degree in Finance or Accounting with relevant qualification and industry experience looking to take the next step in your careerKnowledge of US GAAP preferable, with progressive experience and responsibility in manufacturing financeStrong system and transactional accounting experienceProficient skills in a wide variety of IT applications such as Excel, SAP, Other DatabasesStrong communications skills and an eagerness to get involved across the teamStrong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organizationWe offer:
