Finance Manager
About this role:
The Finance Manager will lead the financial, planning, and analysis for Global Sales. We are looking for ambitious individuals with outstanding, proven analytical capabilities and intellectual curiosity who enjoy partnering with business leaders to grasp large complex data sets and develop clear business solutions. You are a well-rounded problem solver with the ability to drive results in a high-energy growth environment.
This role will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and implementation of processes to support key Global Sales initiatives focused on driving revenue growth.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with Global Sales businesses to ensure all reporting and analytics are performed in an accurate and timely manner
Provide superior analytical and business support to the Sales business to ensure he/she is equipped with insight and analysis to support investments in targeted market sectors
Lead and assist the annual budget and quarterly forecast process and identify areas of risk and opportunities to enhance business models
Provide reporting and detailed analyses to help business leaders make timely, fact-based decisions, and understand business performance
Provide senior management with monthly financial results and analysis
Help drive automation and reporting visualization
Develop models and analysis and collaborate with planners to drive understanding of business unit performance
Provide ad hoc analysis and finance support in addition to recurring accountabilities
Provide support to enable long range planning to become a continuous activity
Manage and coordinate team projects, test of new processes, and help with new finance system enhancement
Build highly effective team by recruiting, interviewing, and assessing talent
Day to day management of 3-4 associates promoting teamwork and individual development
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's & Master’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting required
Advanced certification in Business, Finance or Accounting desired
6-10 years’ experience in a financial reporting and analysis capacity
4+ years relevant professional experience leading and/or mentoring team of associates
Working knowledge of business operations
Excellent communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, influencing, and change management skills
Independent thinking and complex problem solving and modelling skills
Incumbent must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to summarize and present meaningful financial data
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture by being approachable, providing continuous encouragement to team, identifying skill gaps and communicating team goals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic team environment.
Expert in dealing with financial systems such Oracle/ SAP/TM1
Hands-on experience with designing and developing dashboards using self-service analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) preferred
