Finance Manager - SAP
Job Title: Finance Manager (SAP) Industry: Insurance Job Description Lead in the implementation and integration of the Company’s finance and reporting requirements within the SAP platform. + Assist in the development and design of various aspects of SAP solution to the needs of finance. + Develop IT requirements and instructions based on finance requirements. + Lead and/or conduct user acceptance testing. + Provide insights and advice on potential options on making finance requirements a reality within SAP. + Problem solving and trouble-shooting implementation issues related to all aspects of the SAP solution and presenting solutions to key stakeholder to achieve buy in. + Be a key liaison between finance and all other technology stakeholders (i.e., IT, SAP, etc). + Assist in the integration of various IFRS, GAAP, and stat accounting rules within SAP. + Advise on finance and IT controls needed during and post SAP implementation. Job Requirements + Accounting certification (CA, CMA or CPA). + Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or Accounting. + At least 4-6 years’ experience in public reporting for insurance and/or reinsurance companies. + In depth knowledge of SAP is required + Knowledge and experience with IFRS 17 and insurance accounting under GAAP preferred. + Excellent proven communication, management and interpersonal skills. + Demonstrated excellence in written communication.
