Kforce's client, a Life Sciences company with a US branch located in the Thompson, CT area is in search of a Finance Manager. The company is involved with critical drug development and enhancement. The position offers the chance to work in all areas of Finance as well as partner with operations. Summary: The Finance Manager will be responsible for all US based finance and accounting activities, including budget, financial forecasting, statistical reports, audits, and tax activities. Essential Responsibilities: * Finance Manager will oversee and manage the full variety of areas within the finance department * Actively engage in all Budgeting and Forecasting processes * Works as a business partner with multiple parts of the organization * Managing and executing day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivables * As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for invoicing clients for services and assisting Project Management with tracking expenses/budgets * Establish and monitor Capex controls * Monitor cash flow analysis and forecasting * Develop, implement, and manage cost controls across the business * Finance Manager will evaluate business case for all projects and expenditures * Produce Financial reporting both local and towards HQ (US GAAP and IFRS) * Manage all financial audits * Other duties as assigned by the Site Manager or CFO
