As the US BD & FP Finance Manager you will drive improved business performance. You will do this by focusing on value creation and governance, working in partnership with US BD&FP management team. You will also help shape and translate strategy into plans that improve business performance, provide financial and business leadership, and create and deliver solutions to key investment prioritization issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support Program Managers in developing and maintaining their 5-year plans and budget.Ensure US FP Programs are meeting long term financial and business goals, getting proper returns on investments, and that investments align with the future business strategy.Coordinate business case assumptions between the various BD&FP areas and other supporting functions like Supply Chain, MA&T, IT, ensuring consistency, proper support, and assessment of risk inherent in the estimates.Provide financial leadership to the US FP Program team and ensure that the financial implications of all events, transactions, and decisions, taken or proposed, are fully considered, and acted uponInfluence multiple stakeholders to look beyond their functional area to the goal of maximizing the businesses limited resources of money and people.Manage the development and maintenance of long-term project and contract profit and cash planning.Assist the BP Sales Ops team to reflect properly all opportunities in the Customer Hub.Ensure financials and commentary are submitted accurately monthly. Work with business to develop balanced scorecard to measure financial performance against budgets, plans and targets.  Input commentary to other areas of the business (engineering, etc) as required.Maintain professional standards and compliance with all internal & external professional policies.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience, ORBachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, ORMaster’s degree with 3+ years of experience, ORJD/PhD, OR9 years of experience in lieu of degreeTo be considered for this role, you must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.Working experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.Demonstrate good understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and US Government contracting. Demonstrate good understanding of IFRS accounting.
