The Finance Manager - Vietnam, Diagnostics will play a vital role in supporting SEA Finance Director, Diagnostic. This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and is responsible for all aspects of accounting in DHR Dx Vietnam. The person in this position must have a hands-on & detail-oriented working style, but also is able to see the big picture. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Business partnering and financial analysis + Partner closely with Vietnam Dx commercial team to oversee the quote to cash process, budget/forecast and key biz initiatives on growth, pricing, resource/capital deployment, to ensure revenue and profit delivery, cost control, ROI and working capital optimization. + Provide support for month end activities and preparing Vietnam Dx consolidated management review package as per the global reporting timelines. Influence key business decisions based on financial indicators and serve as the finance expert & advisor for critical business projects and customer deals including new business and investment opportunities. + Provide financial analysis with clear insights and decisions to support corporate initiatives and regional growth in business planning and decision making. Being a “co-pilot” to instill business insight and trust into the organization. Support budgeting, forecasting, actual vs forecast variation analysis, financial analysis and group reporting with the Opco finance teams. Accounting, control & compliance + Work with 3rd party accounting firm ensure properly & timely payment to vendors, including vendor payments, employee reimbursement, payroll payments and taxes. Work with 3rd party accounting firm to prepare & analyze all relevant accounting records & schedules for accuracy & completeness for month end closing (monthly, quarterly and year end closing) under US GAAP + Preparation and ensuring complete and accurate balance sheet reconciliation & monthly ledger review with proper electronic audit evidence. Ensure the VAT/GST Tax returns are prepared & submitted on an accurate and timely basis + Work closely with Opco finance team and corporate tax to ensure compliance and internal control on intercompany cross charge, transfer pricing and SOX control. Ensure compliance with our system of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with company & fund policy & guidelines. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA or CMA desired, preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) of Vietnam. + 8-12 years of progressive experience in FPA, business partnering roles, preferably in a complex, multinational environment. Experience working in a matrixed organization is highly desirable. + Deep understanding of local business environment and practices. + Adapt at both Microsoft Excel and Oracle Applications (ERP, Hyperion Enterprise, Planning, HFM, OneStream); Strong Power BI skills + Effectively communicate and present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
