Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor payments across multiple regions, including ANZ, UK, USA, NA, and Sri Lanka, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Perform all month-end journal entries, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.Assist in processing all vendor invoices in the Stampli systemReconcile the General Ledger (GL) against accounts payable sub-ledger balances to maintain accuracy.Manage the petty cash float, enter petty cash expenses into the system, and perform monthly reconciliations.Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements and reconcile all tax accounts.Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), the Board of Investment (BOI), and external auditors on tax and compliance matters.Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, contributing to the overall efficiency of accounts payable operations.Any other ad-hoc reporting as required by the management.Qualifications and Skills:
Finalist, part qualification or qualified by experience in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA or ACCA.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.Minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 2 years in an audit firm preferred.Strong command of ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred).Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with excellent analytical skills.Experience working with foreign business partners, clients, or team members is a plus.
