Job Description

Our client, a holding company of a group of companies and who has expanded its African footprint, is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst to join their young team of professional pioneers. This role will report into the Group COO and is based in Sandton, JHB and will require you to be on-site daily. This company offers great future growth prospects within the business!

Responsibilities:

Investigate, analyse and implement any generalised or country specific operational and/or systems challenges Assist in implementing, training and entrenching company operational culture, this to be done through monitoring and dissemination of all activities, data and reports to ensure they conform to established (“SOP’s”) and Policies, conducting periodic monitoring visits to countries and branches Assist in identifying areas of weakness within the various Group companies’ SOP's and infrastructure, to facilitate improvement thereon, in order for the organisation to grow and achieve its goal Management of staff and/or physical infrastructure, as well as all data and intellectual property Assist in the establishment and commissioning of new businesses in various countries through training, drafting of SOP’s and possible site visits Manage Operations across all disciplines including, but not limited to, Sales, Marketing, Collections, Human Capital, Administration, Operations etc Operational problem identification and analysis, as well as operational problem corrections Business planning and implementation

Requirements:

Bachelors’ Degree (such as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Financial Sciences, Accounting & Finance or Business Management) is essential Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience Someone who is tech savvy and enjoys working with financial systems Experience in Financial Services or Audit firm environment in an analytics or operations role Must be willing to travel at least once a month Strong data analytics skills is preferred A strong command of English, both written and verbal, is a requirement of the job
