Finance & Operations Performance Excellence Vice President

The Consumer & Community Banking Performance & Experience and Technology (PXT) Finance & Operations Performance Excellence team supports key initiatives to drive strategy, project/program delivery and modernization with a focus on financial and organizational transformation. Ensuring a proactive, coordinated and innovative delivery approach for our clients and stakeholders is paramount to our success. The scope of work enables us to partner closely with finance, technology and business groups as we optimize our product operating model and drive value for the firm’s bottom line.

As a Vice President within PXT Finance & Operations Performance Excellence, you have the technical acumen and a capacity to understand and support implementation of financial tools, improve processes and change management. You are equally passionate about solving business problems through innovation and modernization, and a self-starter with a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders and partners. You are someone who demonstrates solid leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong inter-personal skills as well as the proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying management level stakeholders. Job responsibilities

Drive financial innovation and transformation projects with a strong focus on continuous improvement and deliver with clear business acumen.Facilitate & document project-related meetings and deliverables (Working Sessions, Kanban Cadences, Scrum Ceremonies, Requirements Gathering/Story Refinement, Business Reviews/Status Calls, Retrospectives, etc) Build strong working relationships by partnering with project teams, stakeholders, internal and external business partners.Identify, document, and actively manage key risks, issues, and project escalations.Display financial acumen (ability to understand financial concepts, apply critical thinking to solutions and translate complex concepts to both business, financial, and technical audiences).Identify opportunities for both modernization and process improvements including facilitating implementation of best practices across the organization. Possess working knowledge of internal financial reporting systems, operating model and deliverables.Develop presentations and executive materials to analyze and articulate operating models, end-to-end solutions and recommendationsPerform bespoke / ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiativesSelf-reflects on areas of personal growth/development and focuses on continuous upskilling.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.7+ years of related experience - financial services, business, project management, team leadership and/or technology experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability speaking/ presenting to various levels of management in both business and technology.Proficient in project management and Agile related tools such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, JIRA, Teams, Excel, and Confluence.Proficient in financial tools such as Essbase, SAPCO and AnaplanExperience driving and resolving issues and managing risk to meet overall project goals and objectives.Works autonomously – Excellent time management and organization skill with a clear demonstrated ability to multi-task and react in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.Demonstrates flexibility, adapts to shifting priorities, embraces ambiguity and navigates through change positively while helping to remove challenges/blockers.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Prior success leading medium to large-scale agile projects and software development implementations.Experience working with Product, Technology and Business Management teams.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE or Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
