The Business Management and Financial Governance team sits within the Finance Operations under the Finance COO organization. Our mission is to serve as a trusted partner across Finance COO and the broader Finance disciplines to drive transparency and accountability of Citi’s Resources. Specifically, this role will report to the Finance COO Business Execution lead/ Head of Business Management and Financial Governance. The individual is responsible for Finance Operations Risk & Controls and business analytics across Finance COO and enhancing and revising reporting for Finance COO. Enhanced control and governance of these processes is an expected outcome.
This individual will work closely with SMEs and Finance Operations leads to achieve the target state objectives and outcomes.
* Please note, for this role, you must report on site three times per week to the Getzville office. This role cannot be done remotely or from another Citi office.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead Risk & Control activities, such as Manager Control Assessment (MCA), Records Management Unit (RMU), Continuity of Business (COB)Participate in leadership meetings to assess scope of communications needs, educate leadership on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact.Serve as subject matter expert on related Risk & Controls tools and applications.Lead the Finance Operations team through the development of a R&C framework in support of the quarterly and annual processes.Act as a point of escalation for significant risk issues coordinating appropriate response strategiesQualifications:
6+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry or Business Execution functionsExperience in risk management and mitigation, internal controls, or auditStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios and implement effective controlsExcellent communications and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and influence decision makingExperience in data analysis with advanced Microsoft Office Excel skillsExperience developing presentation material w advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPointProven relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across teams, executive management team and key functional support areasEducation:
